----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Late 1800's Quilt! Recently we purchased a barrister book case from an estate. During the visit, they offered this quilt. I am not a quilt guy nor can I find any information about this quilt anywhere. The local fabric shop tells us that they date quilts by the fabric style and pattern. The books they use to date them only goes back to the 1890's It is thier guess that the quilt date to the mid to late 1800's.
